Traffic Alert for Sunday, May 19:The Gran Fondo Bike Race will be riding through Stony Point this Sunday. For complete route info, see their website. Bikes will enter Stony Point from Haverstraw along the majestic Hudson River on River Road northbou...nd beginning just after 8AM. They will ride west on Grassy Point Rd, north on Beach Rd, west up Tomkins Ave then turn north and ride up 9W/North Liberty Dr. They will continue up 9W and enter Harriman State Park up the south entrance to Bear Mountain where they will climb to Perkins Memorial. Bikes will then ride south back into Stony Point on 9W and go west on Mott Farm Rd. (The Buckberg Mountain climb has been eliminated). Bikes will continue out Mott Farm Rd to Cedar Flats Rd and turn right to westbound Rt 210/106. They will ride up to the top of Gate Hill and turn left down the steep hill (eastbound Willow Grove Rd). The last bikes will be out of Stony Point by about 1:30 PM when they turn onto southbound Call Hollow Rd and wind through the hilly local streets in Pomona and leave North Rockland via Camp Hill Rd.
